Bowmore Islay 15 yr Old Single Malt

Aged for 15 years in bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry butts. Ruby red in colour with a full and firm body. The nose shows sherry, almonds and mature oak with peaty overtones and hints of the sea. Soft, over-ripe dark grapes flood the palate. Rich, with wonderful heather and smoke on the back palate. A warm chocolate sweetness runs throughout. The finish is very soft with a slow warmth.
