Spanish White Guerrilla Albarino 2009 (Spain)

This is the first albarino made in the Rioja region, better known for its production of red wines based predominantly on the tempranillo grape. This wine is well-balanced and smooth with pleasant yellow fruits notes. 100% albarino and only 12.8% alcohol, testament to its cooler origins. Tasting note: Straw yellow colour. Aromatic nose of yellow fruits and white flowers. On the palate it has great balance and good acidity providing freshness and a long aftertaste.
