Barwick Margaret River Chardonnay 2008

NOTES: This Margaret River chardonnay has an enormous intensity of fruit with complex aromas of butterscotch, toffee, fig and fresh cedary barrel oak. A full palate with peach notes, nutty characters and a creaminess with perfectly balanced French oak. A wild ferment portion has added to the complexity of the wine which has a very long finish. PALATE: This This chardonnay presents a full palate with rich and rounded layers. Peaches and nutty lees characters balanced with oak and malolactic creaminess and a good acid length. CUISINE: This oaked chardonnay will pair well with poultry, pork, veal, salmon, crayfish and creamy sauces.
