West Brook Marlborough Barrique Fermented Chardonnay 2009

A barrique fermented style Chardonnay of fruit grown on the stony plains of Marlborough. Ripe summer nectarine, apple skin and freshly baked brioche aromas appear on the nose. The palate, with its delicate entry, has fresh presence with stone, citrus blossom and hazelnut notes extending across. Notes of bergamot, lemon and almonds linger over the fine mineral finish.
