Redmetal Hawkes Bay Merlot/ Cabernet Franc 2008
TASTING NOTES: From a very warm and dry growing season, this wine has a dark purple / ruby colour with ripe black fruit characters and a background of cedary oak. Rich, fleshy fruit with soft tannins and mouth-filling weight make for an excellent food wine with great drinkability but also the structure to cellar comfortably for 4-5 years.
