Tank No 32 Appassimento Primitivo 2018
The Apassimento method is used, whereby the grapes are hand harvested and traditionally dried on bamboo or straw mats, prior to fermentation and bottling by Camivini in Verolanuova, Lombardy.
The Primitivo appears intense ruby red in colour with lashings of spiced red berry fruit on the nose. The palate displays overwhelming amounts of red cherry, raspberry and redcurrants, lightly toasted with sweet spice, finishing balanced and soft with full lingering red fruit. Excellent and ready to consume now with roasted red meats and mature cheeses and allow to open in the glass.
